Pre-Order Writing the Christian Romance

Writing Fiction Right are all of the techniques you need to know to write a compelling story that will appeal to editors and readers alike. I decided to begin to his blog totally based on everything I've learned in the past years of writing and selling my books for publication, and as well, many other techniques I learned while writing my book for Writers Digest, Writing the Christian Romance.

While romance is the major focus in my book, the same principles apply to all forms of Christian fiction, and this blog goes beyond the romance genre. And most of you know that no matter what genre, romance often makes an appearance in one way or another. With that in mind, it's not too early to order, Writing the Christian Romance. You can preorder this book on and it will arrive right around the Christmas holidays.

The book is divided into eleven chapters with the first explaining the romance genre. The others are: creating characters, developing the hero and heroine whether Christian or non-Christian, understanding a variety of POV and how to use them effectively, creating real emotion and using the senses to enhance emotions and characterization, understanding the differences between sexuality and sensuality, techniques to present spirituality, dialogue, introspection, plotting and pacing, and preparing a book proposal. The final chapter also covers finding an agent, providing information about Christian writing conferences and organizaitons. Each chapter ends with a set of exercises to help the writer practice what was learned.

You can pre-order the book by clicking on this link. I will take you to the order page.
